Criminals keep getting younger and younger -

  • Some people are not good in athletics, some are just not good at math, others can't carry a tune to save their lives - so do you think that some people are just not good at being parents?
This is kind of a trick question. The answer is parenting has nothing to do with ability, rather, responsibility.
With that said, where do you think most people go wrong when it comes to parenting? (This is not an easy one to answer)

  • Is there a difference in the responsibilities of parents who make less than minimum wage, compared to those who are wealthy? Explain. Do you think it would be easier to be a wealthy parent or a poor one? Explain. (You may have to help them think through all the issues on this one -- Time, expectations, spoiling, responsibilities, survival...)Luke 12:48

  • For the younger children - What is the job of a mommy and a daddy?

  • Some verses about parenting; Ephesians 6:1; 6:4; Colossians 3:21; Psalm 127:3; Proverbs 17:6; 22:6; 2 Timothy 3:2
