The Internet retailer was summoned to a Seattle courtroom yesterday by a customer who claimed the company broke its promise to sell the 36-inch RCA color television at a huge discount.

Researchers at the University of Notre Dame recently found that in Hispanic families that regularly attend church, the parents are more likely to be involved in a child's schooling, homework and extracurricular activities. Those students also generally perform better and are less likely to drop out, the study found.
