The Marriage Is Over, but What About Fido?
- ABC News
"It does not come up frequently, but when it does, it's a big time issue," said Gary Skoloff, a New Jersey family law attorney and the former chairman of the family law section of the American Bar Association. "People are willing to litigate the custody of their pet to the end. It becomes almost like fighting over the custody of a child."

GOOD INTENTIONS - BAD IDEAS |

Pilot's proselytizing scares passengers -
CNN
Airline spokesman Tim Wagner said the pilot denies using the word
"crazy." He told the airline he recently had returned
from a mission trip and was encouraging people to use the four and
a half hour flight to speak with passengers about their relationships
with God, Wagner said. The pilot's name has not been released.

- Pretend you were on this flight. How would you have responded
to a worried passenger sitting next to you after the captain uttered
those words? Would you admit being a Christian or deny Christ?
Explain.
- It has been said, the road to ruin is paved with good intentions.
There will be many times when we will have, what we think, is
a great idea that ends up turning south in a hurry. Share an idea
you had that just didn't work out quite as planned. What did you
learn from it? How can we avoid being the cause of situations
like that?
- Last week's DinnerDialogue
was about taking risks even if you don't feel prepared enough
to do them. This week's DinnerDialogue
is, in a way, just the opposite. So where do you draw the line?
- Here are some Bible verses to check out. You can also use the

How do you define success for your child? “Graduates from a prestigious college.” “Nabs a high-paying job.” “Settles down with a nice family.” Sounds good. But what if you got it all wrong?
What about greatness? Where does it fit in? “If you aim your children at anything less than greatness, you’ll set them up to miss the whole point of their lives,” says author Tim Kimmel. In Raising Kids for True Greatness, Kimmel turns the definition of success on its head and guides you in preparing your child for a life that will easily eclipse the goals of those who are merely successful.
