Some
'act rich' with phony ATM receipts -
Houston Chronicle
The faux receipt is supposed to help your single life
like this: You meet a hot woman (or guy) who isn't as interested in
you as vice versa. As you search for a piece of paper to write down
your number, you pull out the receipt nonchalantly, jot down your digits
and give it to the woman who is obviously out of your league. If she
doesn't readily toss it on the floor, the thinking is that she will
see the large balance and be impressed. Thus, you get a phone call the
next day.

- On the reality series Joe Millionaire, Evan said this about one
of the girls on the show: "If it were me and some guy who actually
had $50 million standing next to each other, she would take the guy
with the $50 million." Do you think women are more attracted
to guys with money? Why or why not?
- Do you think it's the bank account or the toys that the wealthy
have that is more attractive? Sinbad once told this story in a stand-up
routine - Two girls are sitting in a sidewalk bistro in downtown when
they observe a man walking by. One girl says to the other, "That
is an ugly man." And as the man gets into his Porsche the other
girl replied, "Ooh but he does have potential!"
- Is it wrong for a girl to choose a guy because of his wallet? Does
this make her superficial or could she be more interested in the possibility
that he is successful and good at what he does?
- Which would you rather have happen to you : Someone say they are
wealthy then later tell you they aren't? Or someone say they are not
wealthy then turn out to be wealthy? Why is there a difference?
- Psalm 49:6ff; Proverbs 11:28; 28:22; Ecclesiastes
5:10.
