The Marriage Is Over, but What About Fido?
- ABC News
"It does not come up frequently, but when it does, it's a big time issue," said Gary Skoloff, a New Jersey family law attorney and the former chairman of the family law section of the American Bar Association. 'In God We Trust' makes statement
-
Post-Tribune
Indiana's new 2007 license plates feature a clear call of allegiance --'In God We Trust'. The plate layout received wide bipartisan support in the state's House and Senate, and residents have warmed to its pretty, patriotic design. What is the best way to proclaim your faith to the world?

-
How does the motto on a license plate or a bumper sticker on your car show your faith? Is displaying a symbol on your car, keychain or necklace an active or passive way to share your faith? How so?
-
What does it mean to truly trust in God? How do you think your faith should affect the way you live, work and drive?
-
See John 13: 34-35 and John 15:8. How did Jesus say the world would recognize his disciples? What kind of "fruit" do you think Jesus wants us to bear?
-
See 1 John 3: 16. How does trusting in God enable us to love others? What do you think that kind of love looks like?
-
See 1 John 4: 10-21. What do you and your family do to show others you know and trust God? What are some ways you could actively share God's love at home, at school, or in your neighborhood?

The reason it stands above all of these other wonderful qualities is because they are each dependent upon courage in order to thrive.

How do you define success for your child? “Graduates from a prestigious college.” “Nabs a high-paying job.” “Settles down with a nice family.” Sounds good. But what if you got it all wrong?
What about greatness? Where does it fit in? “If you aim your children at anything less than greatness, you’ll set them up to miss the whole point of their lives,” says author Tim Kimmel. In Raising Kids for True Greatness, Kimmel turns the definition of success on its head and guides you in preparing your child for a life that will easily eclipse the goals of those who are merely successful.
