Party
planning Potter protest
- Lewiston Sun Journal, Maine
This week’s anti-Potter event will take place on the
eve of the release of “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.” A video
produced by Jeremiah Films called “Harry Potter: Witchcraft Repackaged”
will be shown on a giant screen.

- Do you think it's better to talk about how evil witchcraft is or
how powerful God is? Discuss the pro's and con's of each side.
- When was the last time you shared your faith? How did you get into
the conversation? Do you wish you could share your faith more but
just don't know how to start up a conversation in it? Have you ever
used a secular movie or topic to lead into it (like Harry Potter or
Lord of the Rings)? How do you think this might help in their willingness
to listen?
- How did Paul use his surroundings and culture - even religious beliefs
- to lead into his presentation of the gosple? (Acts
17:3) How did Jesus use His surroundings and culture (Luke
12:24, 27)?
